The Drive

Although there are no guarantees with MS, as it is so individual there is an over whelming amount of evidence that you are in the DRIVING SEAT of this vehicle named MS.

Although the genetic factor appears to largely affect how fast the vehicle is travelling at first, you can learn how to control it!

Worst case senario you can at least slow down the speed of MS (lessen the number of relapses/rate of MS progression), often you can bring the vehicle to a stop (stabilise MS), best of all you could even reverse up, park up the vehicle (achieve full Recovery)-. You may wish to Exit the vehicle but I am afraid you will have to wait for the day that there is an acutal "cure" to do this. Until that day MS will always be there in the background.

The earlier you face the fact that you are on the MS vehicle and it is moving forward towards a Destination you DO NOT WANT TO GO TO, the better your chances of learning how to control it!

Many people are achieving just this as we speak! It doesn't happen overnight, it takes time and effort but they get there in the end.

And REMEMBER it all STARTS with the right ATTITUDE!!!
